Happy Thanksgiving

Boy do we have a ton to be thankful for this year. I got to goto National Jewish. I have had only a few mild flares since we got back. Matt lettered in football this year on varsity. Callie turned the BIG 3! I am going to pre-school, we have made a ton of new friends due to the wonderful articles Cindy Hadish has written about me. Everyone in the family seems to be in good health and spirits. Daddy & Mommy are pretty happy they get sleep more than 30-40 minutes at a time. We are very thankful for all our friends and all the people at our church for all the help they have provided this last year. We are very thankful for our family and their love and support. I guess I am really thankful that I have been able to be more normal this year.

Yesterday we had thanksgiving dinner and Mommy made me a special pumpkin pie. Now I know what all the fuss has been about. It is great. I had turkey, corn, mashed potatoes (3 helpings) carrots and blueberry juice. The rest of them added stuffing & gravy (mom made the gravy safe for me, but I don't get it yet).

Hope you all enjoy the long weekend and remember to remind yourself of those things in which you give thanks!

Lynda Dee!

Eczema Flare has ended

Lynda's eczema flare has ended (knock on wood). We have added peaches and cherries to our diet. While at National Jewish she was given the okay to each peaches and cherries she did not eat them during the oral food challenge. They told us to try them out back home. Over the weekend I made peach and pear popsicles and cherry and pear popsicles. Lynda LOVES them. The peach and pear is her favorite. This coming weekend we are going to also try pear and plum popsicles.

Take care and God Bless.

Eczema Flare

We have been battling an eczema flare since Sunday the 11th of November. We have had to wet wrap Lynda's face and her arms. We know that the flare started while attending church. We just can't pin point what she came in contact with in the nursery to cause this flare. That is what is so frustrating about eczema you may never know what caused the flare to happen. I can say at this point the flare on her face is now under control, her arms are almost clear again. We will still have to wrap her wrist and hands, but this is a lot better than it could have been. Benadryl every four hours was a life saver. That certainly helped minimize her scratching. Sean also had an allergic reaction to something in the nursery, he and Lynda walked home to take out his contacts, because his eyes were swelling shut.

We are going to try and see our friend Jessie and Aspen this weekend. Jessie and Aspen both have allergies. Jessie has been battling his own eczema flare and skin infection and we want to make him feel better.
