Sabrina's Law

Ok, I very rarely try to be really blunt and to the point, but there is a documentary on the net that can be viewed for free right now. It really illustrates the importance of education in reference to food allergies. Sabrina's law was passed in Canada to protect children from situations at school which could but them in danger in relation to their food allergies or even cause death (which in the case of Sabrina is what happened) and we are trying to get it passed here in the US. View the documentary here. We would like to get Sabrina's law introduced here in Iowa. Please take a moment to learn about this. Write your congressman and senator both on a state and federal level. I can't even fathom the loss of Lynda due to a situation like this and Laurie and I have taken a very proactive approach to making sure that not only Lynda, but other children get the help and protection they need. We also have an immediate need for a sponsor for an Iowa child that needs to goto National Jewish for treatment and does not have insurance that will cover it. If you or someone you know can assist this family to help us "pay it forward" please please let us know. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season... and please consider helping us save children's lives.

Kathleen,
Thank you for responding to our post. Sean and I were glued to the web video last night. Last night we agreed that this law needs to be passed here in Iowa too. I have been searching the internet this morning trying to find the "details" of Sabrina's Law so we can start the submission process here in Iowa. Do you happen to know where I can find the actual text of this law?

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance it is greatly appreciated.
